Partnerships and accreditations

SATA is an independent aviation training organization that offers IATA courses in the Azores, Portugal.

All training courses are taught under an IATA Regional Training Partnership for Portugal and all courses are delivered by IATA’s instructors, using official IATA course materials.

SATA is accredited by INEM (Emergency Medical National Institute for Portugal) for the delivery of emergency and first-aid training, at a national level.

The AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and Basic Life Support trainings are acrediatated internationally by the American Heart Association.

Homologation Approval/Teaching Authorization 976/HOMOL/2018

According to the mandate released by the Regional Director for Employment and Vocational Training, on March 9^th, 2018, the “Employee Representative, Employer and/or Employee Designated for Safety and Health at Work Training” has been approved/authorized.
